Located right outside Promontory Ranch off the frontage road to Home Depot in line with I-40, The Park City Gun Club was practically down the street. Well, sort of. My friend Cindy decorated it, so as you can imagine, the interior was in very good taste a la mountain elegance. Inside, find rooms and spaces for classes, training, gun rentals, simulators, indoor ranges, etc.
What a phenomenal time we had. We listened, observed and learned, pumped rounds of ammunition, let off steam and contemplated life's lessons. Turns out my baby girl, 11 years old, is a slick sharpshooter and one tough amazing cookie.
We love the expert, top-notch, enthusiastic, friendly staff. The instructors are awesome with kids—minimum age to use a firearm here is 10 years old. As a parent raising kids in Summit County, tween girls should absolutely have proper firearms instruction!
