Brunch

Brunch was eclectic and Bosnian-centriceverything was incredible, particularly all the eggy Euro dishes made with love. I think we all could have died at the end from eating so much ;')

Nature at her finest, National Geographic style! Directly outside the dining room window on this glorious day, mama robin snuggles with her babies while papa robin runs out for some worms for the baby chicks...
Acai Smoothies.  Unsweetened pure Acai smoothie pack by Sambazon, banana, marionberries, strawberries, unsweetened almond milk, coconut nectar, granola and nuts. The minute we walked through the door, we were greeted with this insane greeting drink.
Oatmeal.  Steel cut oats topped with apple pie filling, butter, sugar, chopped green apples, cranberries, splash of orange juice, steel cut oats.
Eggs and so much else evolved into...
Super Veggie Frittata!  Mushrooms, parsley, bell peppers, eggs, spinach, potatoes, tomato, herbs. Rich, flavorful, intensely yummy, my favorite.
Chorizo Frittata.  Chorizo, eggs, onion, peppers...fabulous and meaty.
Buredzici.  A Bosnian meat pastry, phillo dough stuffed with spiced ground beef and onion.
Yogurt Garlic Spiced.  Pour this over the meat pastries.
Angie's famous tofu mystery dish started out like this and turned into...
Tofu Scramble with Avocado!  Tofu, spinach, onion, red peppers, mini potatoes, topped with avocado, scallion, parsley, chive, parmesan.  Flavors and texture galore, yummilicious.
Cheese Plate.  Goat, soft and hard. I love the salty goat.
Fingerling Potatoes.  Fingerlings roasted with onion, herbs and olive oil.
Kaiserschmarm.  Sweet mushed-up pancakes with marcarpone and lemon zest. An Austrian specialty, the most famous thing in Vienna.
Mint Lychee Fruit Salad.  I brought this fruit bowl, of course ;) Strawberries, raspberries, lychees, mint leaves, lime, black sesame, roasted white sesame. Sugary sweet and juicy with a tickle of minty tang.
Cucumber Tomato Salad.  Crunch, refreshing...balsamic bite.
Ooh...
Beef Bacon.  Cooked in parchment with parsley, Persian rub and sliced tomatoes.
Mortadella.  Ah, razor thin salty goodness.
Zeljanica Bosnian Pastry.  Fillo dough stuffed with spinach and cheese.
Gravlax.  From IKEA, salmon cured in salt, sugar and dill....delicious!
Over a magical brunch feast with friends, we share wisdom, bond, laugh, reminisce, tell stories and we overeat like gluttons....
Pigging out like kings, we sip flutes of bubbly and cups of Dan's special coffee.
The young men of our future, a compulsive generation of tech boyz.
Waffles.  Hot maple syrup and rich waffles for the traditional child.
Crepes.  Classic crepes with sides of cut pineapple, berries and gourmet jams.
Coffee Cake.  This was Ben's first lucky attempt at baking. Moist, rich, not way sweet, flaky, juicy berries, insane surgary crust on top.
Apple Cake.  By Sharain. Moist, buttery, heavenly bites.
Muffins!  Made with oozing love by Sarah.
Chocolate Chip Cookies!  By Sweeneys with love.
xoxo
