Diana's Cannolis

It was late afternoon and still dumping snow when I got the cannoli text. It was Diana announcing that her super special cannolis (ancient family recipe or something like that...) were ready! Yay for impromtu invites for fresh homemade cannoli and whiskey! (FYI, sorry no recipe here, but coming soon...)
Here, a tray of brand new glorious golden cannoli shells, shaped with fat bamboo sticks...crisp, irregular, homemade...
Fill them right before serving for crunchy awesomeness. One bite into the chilled raspberry next to the dense, nutty filling will make you die!
And they pair magically with High West's Barreled Manhattan.
