Dojo Asian Cuisine & Lounge in Salt Lake City (downtown)



I was downtown SLC after the lunch hour, starving and craving something sushi-ish. Since Takashi closed at 2pm for dinner prep (luckily, or else I wouldn't have tried something new...), Fumi suggested Dojo, a hip new Asian restaurant between Iggy's and a hotel on 400 West and 300 South. Come meet Chefs Drew and Kirk for some fresh, delectable yummies in a young, clubby, lounge atmosphere.

Wagyu Sashimi, microgreens, wasabi vin, garlic chips, tobiko, garlic ponzu, truffle.Ikura, Salmon Roe, house-cured, sake, mirin, soy, lime.Madai, Japanese Tai, microgreens, yuzu, spicy cod roe.Yama Kake, yamaimo (japanese potato), maguro, green onion, soy.Dojo Ramen, porkbelly, shoulder, kamaboko, egg, green onion.Dojo Ribs, baby back ribs, japanese jalapeno chocolate teriyaki.Egg Dashi. Oranges, Plum Wine.Fumi with Chefs Drew and Kirk, very cool Asian dudes. Awesome food, chill ambience, good music, super gracious attentive chefs!
