dinner at Linda's

I always get a burst of creative energy and artistic inspiration after a dinner at Linda's. It was just another perfect end-of-summer Park City afternoon and we were headed to Deer Crest for an evening of fabulous home-cooking and beautiful conversation.
Sheri stabbed together immaculate skewers of organic cherry tomatoes, basil and marinated mozzarella.
Fresh daikon.
Truffle spiced popcorn.
Cocktail napkins by Bad Girl Art are the best ;')
The kitchen is designer's walk through Genesis. We love "The Tree of Life" buffet cabinetry.
Talk is global, smart, energetic, eclectic, aware, fun... State of Israel? Park City real estate? To ski or to snowboard? Organic chickens sold at Costco?! When did you get back from India? Up and coming local artists? How's China? Oh, those cute grandchildren! Sustainable growth? The temple? Teens? Planet Fitness? Etc., etc.
Vegetarian Split Pea Soup.
Kosher wine pairings.
Salmon and Dill.
Marinated Duck.
Baked Squash.
Wild Rice.
Romaine Salad.
Neill's duck came out divine! Can't believe I used "divine"to describe duck. I took all the juicy yummy dark parts oozing in moist, tender, succulent, awesome ducky flavors.
The Farmers' Market squash was baked perfectly with a sprinkle of seasoning and a drizzle of oil. Wild rice was missed with chopped nuts and veggies. Salad was chilled and crisp.
Dessert is always some beautiful decadent cake and chocolate. Heavenly.
Always a beautiful and delicious time here; nourish the mind, soul and tummy :)
We love you, Linda and Neill. xoxo
