It was another super tasty night at Takashi even with the 45 min wait for a table. You can always look forward to the Specials Blackboard showcasing monthly chalk graffiti masterpieces.Fried Utah Trout. Deboned, brushed with a light batter and deep-fried. Totally worth the wait. The trout was perfection—delicate silky flaky white meat and tasty crispy skin.
Sablefish Nigiri. This torched cod just rocks. Nothing like it.
King Kong Roll. Tempura banana, salmon, tuna, tobiko. A Takashi original. Your friends will love it.
Strawberry Fields. Strawberries, hamachi and almonds...spicy and fabulous.
Summit Roll. The birds-eye peppers were crazy spicy that night. Crazy yummy riceless decadence.
Mussel Shooters. Those birds-eye chilis cleared up sinuses and brought tears of joy all night long ;)
