Wahso summer nights

Another yummy Wahso summer night of uber fusion dishes... We started out on the deck and relocated inside when the sun left and chill kicked in. Scenic seats on the deck are magical. Come with friends you LOVE :)
$5 corkage.
Shrimp Masala.  Chili seared shrimp, caramelized pineapple, red onion, mango, avocado, cilantro coulis. Sweet, sour, spicy, crunchy, smooth, slippery. This app hits all the sensations. I'm not a lover of masala, thus I enjoyed the fruit more than the actual shrimp.
Edamame.  Served steamed and tossed in Old Bay, sea salt and meyer lemon confit. You will suck these rinds forever. Flavors are addicting! Get this for the table!
Freebie wonton chips. Be careful...
Before the entrees came out, we migrated inside to a cozy 4-seater booth.
Sweet Corn with Miso.  Served with bits of salty crunchy bacon. Simple and so fabulous.
Pork Postickers.  Pickled cucumbers, balsamic-soy dipping sauce. Not my favorite. Too sticky, too hard, too  fried. FYI, very spicy.
Blistered Green Beans.  We always get it with sauce on the side. Can't ever go wrong with these. These green beans are equivalent to a box of french-fries. Super YUM.
Sweet Miso Glazed Alaskan Cod.  This is a dish people CRAVE. It's that good. Served with sushi rice, shitakes, bok choy and a yuzu-soy sauce containing bits of lemongrass. Buttery wet cod served with all the right Asian fixings...
Malaysian Style Red Snapper.  White prawns, wok tossed summer veggies, green papaya cashew salad. Fresh, light and gorgeous. Ripe mango, mint, sprouts, scallion, lotus...
Lamb Vindaloo.  Grilled Rocky Mt Sirloin, black eyed peas, cucumber, sweet and sour eggplant. I love the natural flavors of lamb. Lamb was cooked perfectly, but the sauce was overpowering.
Grilled Filet Mignon.  Sweet onion tempura, glazed baby veggies, wahso steak sauce, ponzu brown butter. AMAZING. Onion rings are the bomb.
