NYC Bagels

We were finally escaping the city after days of what turned into excruciating work meals endured at the Crowne Plaza Time Square hotel. (Perfectly fine food, but just too much of it!) Just as I was getting irritated, craving and dreaming of a classic New York City bagel, lo and behold, we get stuck at a light right in front of my dreamy bagel shop en route to the Hamptons! Can't remember the name or street it was on, but this tiny hole-in-the-wall was the bomb.

Old school bagel chef working his magic.
Ah, the deli counter of a real NYC bagel shop.
Blueberry Muffins straight out of the oven. Do you smell it?!
Cream Cheese Selection.  Nice.
Everything Bagel, Eggwhites, Onion, Tomato.  Fresh chewy bagels are AMAZING.
Sesame Bagel, Scallion Cream Cheese, Red Onion, Tomato, Lox.  THE BEST. I've been in Utah for too long. Could this have been the best tasting thing EVER?! Crisp onion, fresh flavorful scallion in the cream cheese, chilled briny thin-sliced lox, ripe juicy yet firm tomato. Intensely delicious.
Omg, seriously.
Oh, what a beautiful blueberry muffin.
xoxo
